I put three of my AG plants in the garden two weeks ago today. They are growing, all have three or four true leaves on them. When can I expect to see them start to vine? Also how often should I be applying more fertilizer?

Hey Indy, mines been in 1 week, not doing much yet either,, temps been a little cool in the mornings, 58/60 ish. decided to add a small office heater to get temps into the 70ish range. Greenhouse temps aint bad, but new seedlings kinda like the 70 to 82 temps range to start to run, the Thing is running great but the other 2 are a tad behind, check my diary, Best Curt

It is normal to spend the first 2 weeks or more staring at the plants and wondering why they are not doing much. But rest assured that under the soil the roots are growing like crazy, they are building the infrastructure to support the needs of the vining plant. In another week you will begin to notice things happening quickly.

Depends on the weather, how big they were when you put them out,Do you use a cloche ,soil cables etc. Having said that it does take them about two weeks to get roots hooked up after transplanting.Plants will really take off when nightly lows are 55 or warmer

I agree with all of above. There’s an initial transplant shock period then it depends on weather. We’ve been 80-90 degrees everyday for weeks now and the plants are really taking off at about 7 feet now. Enjoy the stall, you’re about to get real busy!

OK that is good news I guess. I will be happy to see a vine start to run.
