Little more investigating and looks like most of the new growth including the end of the main are starting to look the same!!! Would like to know asap if it's doomed because still have another plant don't want anything to spread.

No I never spray in the sun. Only one plant seems affected. The other plant is fine so far!!! Feeling a little sick to my stomach right now.

I was afraid I'd be announcing yvd but after looking at the pics I think it is a nutrient deficiency. If in the new leaves only, then probably magnesium deficiency. Tough to correct mid season, but not a season ender.

I was thinking it might be mosaic virus but I could be wrong.

It looks like you have somekind of auto watering system. I would shut it off, water as needed by hand. Use cal mag and small amounts of fert from watering can. That's what I would do. Jim

Bma it's not yellow vine. Attached is a simple chart to help you in identifying deficiency.

Thanks guys I'm hoping you are right and I can correct the problem. At work now but a have a 3 day weekend to try and right the ship!!! Have to remind myself not to panic, but it is hard. Its amazing how obsessed I have become and I haven't even grown a pumpkin yet!!! Does the stressing out over every little detail go away after you have been at this for a couple years?

Bma... Repost on the general discussions board with link to the photos... I can't imagine a mag deficiency would come on that quick(but maybe)...too wet too dry , you would think it would effect more than the last leaves and it would be the worst case of sunburn I've ever seen...Matt debacco the mad scientist is the goto guy for plant diagnosis...(Matt d from Connecticut )..

Also I am home from work and leaves look slightly better. I did cut back on my drip system last night. Despite how they look everything is still growing at the same pace including the pumpkins. I even pollinated one yesterday morning and it looks good. Did buy some Epsom salt on the way home. Have not done anything yet.

Great link brotherdave, having this kind of link is invaluable especially when someone reaches out for information and other growers are throwing out random guessed that don't help anyone...
