Farming- a bunch of catastrophies that result in a lifestyle

I have my keeper on the shenoha on the main, it's growing awesome. I have been pollinating secondary's like crazy and there are now 4 secondary sets in addition to the keeper. 2 secondary sets are above the keeper, two are below it. The keeper is DAP20 today. One of the sets above the keeper is definitely growing, it's right in line with the keeper. The other three are two young to tell if they are sticking or not. (3 of them I pollinated this morning!! 3! and all 5 lobes.)
Question 1.- Is the set in line with the keeper (DAP4) going to rob the keeper, or do I think of it as a 'safety valve' and leave it right alone. How long do I leave it there?
Question 2- when do I start picking all these secondary sets off? I'm thinking watch keeper, every time a secondary hits 7 days and the keeper is still doing good kick the 7 day old set off?

I heave read 10 days, and I have read 20 days. Probably varies by plant, but you'll just have to make the call when to cut the backups. It doesn't take much energy when they are <10 days old.

Search "when to cull" and you'll see some older discussions.

I feel pretty safe if my keeper is still growing past day 10. if your keeper is at day 20 I would take the rest off.
