I agree with Don. Ambrosia is the best I have grown.

I really like 'Ambrosia' too, I often get two ears per stalk with it. The best tasting early variety I have grown is 'Sweet Chorus'. It will beat 'Ambrosia' by about a week.
If you want the sweetest corn overall, I recommend the gourmet sweet line that stokes seed co. has. Any from the Mirai series are good, you can get them from Jung's seed Co.

Grow it here for direct sales. Mirai 301 beat Ambrosia in taste test 28 to 2. This caused me to switch. Still looking for an even better one.

Ambrosia is good, but you all have to try "Honey Select".
Best I have tried.

We have found the variety called 'Marvel' to be tops for freezing. It is a supersweet yellow that you can get from Willhite seeds.
