I've had about ten males open so far between my two plants. The first six or so seemed to have quite a bit of pollen, but today I went out and both males that'd opened (one on each plant), had almost no noticeable pollen. Is it possible the bees have come and done the job (didn't check until 12pm during break) or is there some fertilizer/plant related issue that'd reduce pollen production?

In my patch, pollen is all gone by noontime. I have been watching closely for the last couple of days. In my case it is definitely the bees.

Most likely the Bees or Wind - only way to tell for sure would be to bring one inside the night before place in a glass of water and wait and wait for it to open the next morning to see how much pollen is there.

Definitely bees. They can't resist those big yellow flowers.

I'm lucky to have any an hour after sunrise. I get mine inside the night before. Then they start attacking me when I walk out in the morning....LAST ONE GUYS GET'EM!!!
