I realized today that I am not doing everything I can to boost my own health. Going on a hike today to get my lungs in shape and already have vitamins. Is anyone else realizing now is the time to beat the virus? Is there some way to sort the quackery out and really improve ones own handling of the virus? Plenty of good sleep and not getting stressed to the max?? I am assuming the things that work for other illness will improve our fight against this one?

vitamin C- I dont like the gelatin part of the capsules I think that feeds the enemy... Just give me the pure vitamin. Call that my personal quackery if you will.
Ignore the quackery and really focus on your health my friends.

Glen Dorkens , do yourself a favor and stop getting so stressed about everything.
As I reviewer on you tube said , if there is a link to buy a product you should ignore that reviewer including less than amazing links.
If you look up bulk vitamins you will find a couple of sites that sell pure vitamins and they are much cheaper than the stores. I can give you the site I bought some from or you can look it up on your own. last time I bought was not linked to less than amazing or bay. Bought for my plants!

Washington State is in the hotseat of this outbreak, as we know. Sounds like you are on the right track to keeping yourself healthy. Do what you can to minimize your exposure to the virus and avoid gimmicks and stress. Great job on getting enough rest, exercise, vitamins, and eating a balanced diet! Stay hydrated too! This is what I've been shooting for, although I am not the best at all of this!

I really wish everyone the best of luck in dealing with the Corona Virus! Stay strong, Pumpkin People :-)

I take shot of apple cider vinegar with the “mother” 2x per day. My late Italian grandmother made it and took it her whole life. Never was sick. Lived to 98 after slipping on ice and hit her head.
I have been taking it every day for 7 years and not have had a sore throat, cold, nothing for 7 years. Plus it cured my endless heartburn. This stuff is sold around where the normal vinegar is. Research it.

Hey Rick. Do you dilute it? How much do you drink each time?
Thanks

I also use apple cider vinegar 1 or 2 teaspoons per cup of hot water. 1 or 2 times per day. Many companies sell it. My wife says it smells bad. I too get very few colds. Jim

I take Vitamins A, B-6 and 12, C, D, Echinacea, Goldenseal, Zinc. I have not had cold in 7 years and I used to have one in the fall one in the spring. In those 7 years, I did get influenza once, very mild and Tamiflu knocked it out in a couple days. And I did get 2 intestinal bugs that lasted less than 2 full days. But when my wife got influenza after getting the shot, I took care of her and did not get it, without getting the shot. The medical "experts" say that if you get the shot and the flu, you won't get it very bad, but my wife was sicker than she has ever been. Just my opinion, but I think that if your immune system has been fighting off a vaccination, it gets wakened for fighting off other infections. This year I read that the shot is 47% effective and the experts think that i good. I find 53% failure rate unacceptable. I don't know if I can fight out covid, but I hope I can. Can't do much more than I am now.

There are many things you can do to improve your immune system. I am a 10 years plus survivor of metastatic oral skin cancer. If I were not doing lots of things right I am sure I would not be here.I am a vegan for one thing. I am a sun gazer for another. I exercise & do the Wim Hof method of breathing exercise. I take cold showers. I get plenty of quality sleep beginning the same time each night. I have no anger ag

I have no anger against anyone. I keep my mind relaxed and I almost never worry. I use a juicer and take good nutritional supplements. I eat mostly whole raw foods. I consume no animal products. By all odds I should be dead & I am very alive and thriving. I turn 68 years old the 25th of March and now hope to live into my 90's. I have no fear of covid19 as I know I can beat it.

You can get a blood test to see if you need vitamins, I was given one by my doctor but I don't know if you can just request one. I was a bit surprised, I spend my workday outside and then have the gardening hobby. The only thing I was lacking was Vitamin D

Thank you John. Seems everyone is concerned about not getting this disease. But the fact is if a vaccine takes a year, this is not going to go away. So to me the big question is surviving covid19 when I get it. So that is what I strive for. Most people seem to not listen but if I help even one person to survive then my efforts will have been worthwhile.Take care and be proactive John. We are definitely all in this together my friend.

Nice posts Tennessee, the getting sleep part is my biggest downfall, but I hope that reconciles itself once my kids are a little older. Cutting most sugars out of my diet has really helped me have more energy over the past couple years. Ketchup and bbq sauce has been the hardest to quit consuming.

Samllmouth, a high body PH is associated with excellent disease resistance. Some foods help raise body PH a significant amount. The best two I can think of are fresh lemon juice and watermelon. High body PH makes it more difficult for a virus to replicate. Breathing exercises can have fast and profound effect on body PH. For excellent information on this please consider going to Youtube and search for: Wim Hof breathing exercises.
