I plant mine in the same soil as my pumpkins. We eat them before frost and after. To me frost sweetens them.No special treatment. Still have two fullplants in garden. I don't let them (sprouts) get too large |

They don't do well for me either. I am wondering if my soil lacks a key nutrient. |
