Guys out there that use soil moister sensors. Do you notice difference in how quick you water percentage goes down when the plant is full size and the pumpkin is growing versus when it is not full size? My plant right know doesn't really seem to be sucking the moisture out of the soil at least that is what my sensors are telling me.

Maybe with the massive leaf canopy that you now have, water is not evaporating like it was when your plants were smaller ?? Their is a lot of shade under there.

I was thinking with full root growth when the plant is fully grown it will suck more water especially when the pumpkin is growing. Maybe my soil has a pretty good water holding capacity. Who knows? Thanks for the reply Zap. How's your patch going?

Zap ya this weather has been peaches and cream😀. Cold in the spring and then dry and now hot as heck. Are you having problems with leaf burn?

Cory I am about a week behind last year. Plants would look the best I a have ever had as a group if it wouldn't be for the leaf burn from heat. Hopefully only maybe couple more weeks of burying and pruning vines left. How are you doing?
