Standard 2-4-D would not have carry over to the next year. Make sure that it doesn't have a blend of other longer lasting chemicals or preemergents. 2-4D will volatilze and fume a bit. The vapor is a cloud of death for broadleaf plants. I wouldn't spray 2-4 D anywhere near my pumpkin or greenhouse. Round Up is much safer and gets the grasses also.

I'm sure if Green Bay glen chimed in he might know. He had been dusted with it last year. By the coop.

If it is on grass clipping that was composted..your season will be over. I was burnt once by a so called organic Lawn Care Company. If you neighbor sprays and the wind is right or the heat volatilizes it your season is over

Why use 2 4 D? You can increase dosage to triple, it will wipe it all out without the danger of drift...

Talk to don young, get some white feathers, cover all your plants that are in the patch now, spray the area then sprinkle all the feathers over the area just sprayed.

This should do the job Curt.

I think the higher the temperature the more damage from vapor you can have

Even using a sprayer that previously had 2-4-D in it can be lethal.
