I'm not normally into plugging products for anyone, but a new line of products called Wet-Sol by Schaeffer, introduced at our spring seminar and given to members of the SOGPG to field test, has really impressed me and I can see that, once word gets out in the AG world, will be a big hit.

The first product is Wet-Sol, used as a surfactant and has increased the delivery and effectiveness of foliar applications immensely. I find it not to be harsh like other commercial non-ionic surfactants.

The second product is called Wet-Sol Gro and it has reduced my irrigation water application by 50% and increased the effectiveness of nutrient delivery to the root zone through my drip system. Whereas I used to use 70 gallons of water per plant per day during dry spells, I now use about half that amount to get the same coverage from drip tape spaced 12" apart. This product also contains bio-stimulants, B-Complex vitamins, hormones, and fermentation products. I've never had such a happy plant.

This line of products would be especially beneficial for those whose drainage is less than optimal, as they increase the speed at which water moves through the soil.

Is that going to be available in smaller sizes instead of 1 gallon+?

I purchased by the gallon and my recommendation is to pool with other growers and split it. A little goes a long way.
