            | WiZZy | Little-TON - Colorado | Ok... so how doeZ one figure out the proper dilution rateZ when uZing a brass siphon injector that set for 16 :1 dilution. It appears most chemZ are about 1 OZ per gal for application rates. So does one just add 1/2 gal of distilled H2O to 1/2 gallon of say CAL/MAG, to obtain the 16:1 proper ratio of a 1 gallon solution?. And what type of hose end is used to maintain proper flow rate? | 6/6/2013 2:55:30 PM |

            | croley bend | Williamsburg,KY | Wiz, Ive never had good luck with the siphon injected gizmo. Your hose can only be no more than I think 50ft. Good luck. | 6/6/2013 5:23:27 PM |

            | Jimbo01 | Freedom Is Just Another Word For Noting Left To Lose | I just bought one and it came with the hose end sprayer. I tried with a wand sprayer and it didn't work. | 6/6/2013 6:14:25 PM |

            | Andy W | Western NY | test it out with plain water and known volumes, then figure out the math in reverse.
failing that, just eyeball it like i do.

            | croley bend | Williamsburg,KY | I found the box the siphon came in, it says: if product called for 1 tsp per gallon, you would use 16 tsp in one gallon of water. It will deliver 1 tsp per gallon of water. Connect siphon to faucet with not more than 50 ft of hose between faucet and hose nozzle. Works best with a completely open nozzle and hose is free from leaks and knots. One gallon of concentrate should be drawn through the siphon mixer in five minutes of continous watering. When I lived in the city, my faucet was close, here in the county, faucet way too far. I even tried to hook it up in the middle of my hose line, less than 50 feet, but it still wouldnt work properly. I would test it with colored water, like food dye, and see how it works for you before you add any expensive stuff. Good Luck. Hope it works for ya.

            | Ralph | Vernal, Ut | you could add in the bucket how much you want on your patch, then when the bucket is empty that much is on it. | 6/7/2013 12:44:26 PM |
