I got my tissue test back the other day and we were really suprised to find a Calcium deficiency. Given our high soil Ca an high free Calcium Carbonate levels, i'm not sure what is causing this other than the high soil pH. We will begin the Dr. Linderman cocktail, this week!
I also see we have low levels of Manganese. I am concerned about this and will begin using a foliar manganese suplement this week as well. I expected to see the low Mn because of our high pH, high OM soils.
We are already applying some foliar K on a weekly basis with the pHortress. The Calcimax and the Manganese suplement both have K as well so I don't think I will add any addional K at this time.
Plants are doing well. We have had showers and cooler mid week. Early in the week it was very warm and I was running the misters from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm daily. The plants really seemed to like this.
