1st pollination on the 1041 Mckie, 27" at day 10! This one is about 9ft out, but the surface of the pumpkin got all pock marked and won't be pretty.
1st pollination on the 1055* Pitura, 26" at day 10! This one is a real nice shape and has a nice long stem, but is only about 8ft out. No more pollinations for 6 or 7ft.
This is always the delema with these early pollinations....do they stay or do they go. They are hitting the bench marks, but will a later pollination be even better?
I sent a tissue sample this morning to A&L London. Should have the results in a couple days
