More rain here this morning! Thankfully I got caught up all the vine maintanence last night. I did a foliar spray of Fish /sea weed, Matador (Warrior T) and a new product we are trying this year called pHortress. pHortress is a foliar fertilizer, which contains the ingrediant potassium phosphite. This material is known to help inhibit powdery mildew, by boosting the plants immune system. pHortress is also a high P foliar fert. This should help stimulate flower production as well.
I sprayed a soil application of Admire (Merit) as well last night. Good timing, just before this rain.
I was also able to get some more t-tape laid out yesterday afternoon, with a little help from Ryan. No need to irrigate here yet. Moisture levels are near perfect.
I transplanted out 5 giant tomato plants on Saturday as well.
