Extream heat and humidity the last two days. I removed all the black plastic last night. Soil temp last night inside the hoops is 80F. 90F outside mid day today. Pumpkins are gowing fast, with the 998 leading the way with the main at around 4' and right at the door of the hoop. All plants flagging badly today in this heat. I decided to shade all plants with tarps. Plants are too small to remove hoops as they need the wind protection.

I have all the materials to set up a misting system, but I haven't had time to do it yet.

Heavy thunderstorms moved threw the night before last, leaving two inches of rain. This is turing out to be one of the wettest years since we have been here. I still haven't been able to plant the rest of the giant veggies, tomato's, watermellons, cabbage and kohlrabi. Getting very late but still too wet to work the ground
