Extreme measures have been taken with the 1231 to try and get it back on track. This week we filled in both ends of the tunnel and made a roll up vent on the side. We then plugged in 5 hot air heaters but found we only have enough buckets of electric to run them on one bar. Never mind, we are 4 to 5C warmer than out side and if the now HOT pumpkin looks like it has potential, we have more cunning plans to keep the temp up as we get into September. On day 43 the 1231 x open was 261 inches 381lbs and up 125lbs for the week.
