So here comes this weeks news from Donkey town. First of all I have to say the weather over here is fantastic, if your growing parsnips or winter cabbages that is lol. The long gourds have been the biggest problem and we only have one plant out of six with a fruit set. The temps have been down to 10C (50F) at night and all the young ones have been aborting which is a great shame. The one that we have growing and is 32inches is the 88.5 x 126, so a nice cross and next year we will have a new battle plan.
