I knew it, with all this heat we have been getting I knew we were going to get a really bad storm once the cold front moves in.

This morning around 11:00 am. it was another hot day , (30 degrees) muggy, and no wind. Tommorow temp is suppose to drop to 25 degress so I was thinking something is going to happen with the heat wave finally breaking.

After my morning chores and tending to my plants I went with the kids swimming and then we took them shopping. Well while we were at the grocery store I look out the big front windows pointing west and there layed the worst looking cloud formations, High plume clouds near pitch black along the bottom. I only ever seen this type once before while running from a tornado near cypress hills.

I told the wife to move it we had to get going I needed to get home a.s.a.p. and thought we had about 15 mins to 1/2 hour before the storm hit. Boy was I wrong, more like 10 mins tops. I took the boy to the car first and wind was increasing fast, garbage flying every where, I knew right there that the punkin didn't stand a chance surviving this.

By the time we got going the full front was on us, couldn't see to drive heavy rain and hail.

Con't next entry.
