Wind, light and heat ready if needed. Drenching today with phosphite and 0-52-30. Borax box is for size comparison only. Dap 10 for the squash fruit. Looks good so far. Bleeding a fructose like sticky liquid from the fruits shoulders. Not sure what to make of this? Have seen this before in late August. Think this is a sign that fruit growth falls below the compensation line or the point at which the plant produces more exudates than it can use. The fruit is busy with cell expansion so a traffic jam results on the arterial road network. The plant will be fully terminated by July 1st. All is good.
