The second long gourd's growth has been unimpressive. In one week it went from 17.5 to 38.5 inches. The first gourd took only four days to accomplish that. So something has changed, I'm not sure what. Lack of water, lack of fertilizer, disease, or diminishing daylight, or lower temps, or the plant is distracted by the first gourd, or I picked a dud gourd that didnt have good potential in the first place. Anyhow, I seriously doubt it will reach 100" and I should probably cut it off and refocus the plant back to the first gourd. ...Maybe gain an extra inch.
