I needed more ground cover seed for full coverage of my unused patch area, so I decided to give Joel Holland's Winter Cover Crop seed a try, and I'm glad I did! It grows faster than the wheat and it's fun seeing the difference in my patch between wheat and the oat/rye/vetch blend.

I also ordered a DVD of Joel's 2018 season and had fun watching. Joel really works his rear off putting up all those cloches and then taking them down, putting up the shade cover and then taking it down, and putting up the frost protection and taking it down.

Spouse watches all this and says, "So..... you want to grow big pumpkins?"
