919 Holland fruit on day 69! Nice photo angle! 5 days to weigh in, and looking like it will make it! No measurable size gain over the last 5 days but I'm hoping its growing internally. Anticipation is building as the big day draws near! Still estimated equal to the Australian record.... 970, Need it to go a tad over 3% heavy for the magic 1000 mark.
Have contacted the press about the biggy, might get a bit of coverage on weighing day.
No matter what the fruit weigh's I am happy with the result. Has been a great ride!
Collected the seeds out of the 919 side vine, 172est. Also the 801 Beachy SV, 193est. 807 Beachy, 365 est. Also the 2 140 Boyton fruits at 210 and 100 est. I suspect the 140 was pollinated by some sort of feild pumpkin, would be interesting to see what the 140's offspring would produce....
List of fruit in good condition:
919 Holland, big one 970est.
699 Schroeder, over 500 est.
644 Beachy has 2 healthy fruit
191 Gerry, must be about 200
758 Wallace, nice shape and colour about 200 est
and that's it!!!
