Garden lower section is just about ready for this years tomatoes. Tilled it up for the 4th time tonight and pulled a soil sample from 15 different locations and then mixed them. The 3000 sq ft is not very homogenous yet. Should be able to have plants in the ground within 2 weeks. Good thing tomatoes can have a later season. Upper section needs a lot of work. I have stumps to be removed and am going to bring in another semi load of compost. Upper section is planned pumpkin growing area next year. At least I have the rest of the summer to get it ready. Right now, my muscles are very sore. Bigger equipment is starting to sound cheaper.
