This has been an enlightening time for me. Since Dustin visited, I realized that by growing large pumpkins, I am joining several communities, both online and in real life, and the communities are joining me. I had no idea this was the case, and I need to upgrade my skills and attitude accordingly. I thought I was just growing some large produce for my own entertainment. This is not like buying a seed packet at Lowe's or where ever, lol!
I have made mistakes here and I will make more, and I apologize. I sincerely appreciate your patience.
What kind of grower do I really want to be? What kind of 'brand' do I want to create? What kind of patch do I really want to run? I am looking forward to figuring it out!
I really appreciate the people on this board, and the assistance that I have received. I couldn't have gotten this far without you all.
