Day 40 for the 805 Pukos, gained average of 13 a day last 5 days, slowing up. Showing light orange and a hint of green, plenty of cantalouping happening. Going to end up a nice fruit, and I dare guess it will weigh heavy!

Day 40

Circ 126.5", SS 80.5", EE 76.5", OTT 283.5" and EST at 470 pounds!!!

Powdery mildew is a real problem, keep on spraying but there's always more lurking. Continue's to be a very cool for average summer, hope they will keep on growing. Other home measures:

845 Bobier x 1301.5 Eaton on side vine is now 27 days old. Gaining 10 a day now at 80" circ est 152. Looks like the one set at 36 foot has taken, its at 22.5" on day 9, with a possibility it may grow fast. The main vine has popped off the edge of the garden and is 47 foot long, going to keep it going, maybe break the record for the longest main vine.... lol!

1301.5 Eaton x 845 Bobier, 23 foot out on main vine is now also 27 days old gaining about 12 pounds a day. Now 69.5", EST 106 pounds. Ugly shape, white and blocky. The entire old end of the plant is all yellowed now, cut off a stack of leaves for a few 876 vines to grow over the top. Allowed an extra 200 sqft of leaves to extend onto the grass and right up to the house. The main vine would be over 45 foot long right now. It wilts on even the coolest of days...

I'll save the better news about the 876 till tomorrow on day 25.....
