I let one grow on the side vine of the 919 Holland, again a wheel and a lot more yellow in colour. A bit of a shock absorber, now only growing on less than a quarter of a stem and 64" circ, will let it limp to maturity. The 919 plant would cover 600sqft now, still have 6 or so vines growing...

The 801 Beachy will produce the most beautiful of pumpkins. Young fruit are the most bright yellow I've seen. Its a very large plant, with a good one set way out on the main. Couldn't cull the beautiful 76"er on the side vine. Actually it is more like a secondary main. I severed the vine from the rest of the plant at the stump, will be enough leaves easily to bring it to maturity without taking away from the main vine fruit. Should top 300 pounds, hopefully much bigger on the main vine.

The 140 Boyton fruit fell flat on its stem over the vine and continues to grow birdbath style, will have to get a pic of it soon, nice light orange colour.....

The 807 Beachy also has a beauty set on the main that will have great orange colour. Looks like it is picking up the pace too and could get to a decent size, its gained 17 a day last 3, and the other main fruit was culled today. Pumpkins on the 807 have very long stems!
