The pumpkin soil is in place, the arbor is assembled but not put in place yet, so almost time for some long gourds in addition to the pumpkins. The original plan was for Black Futsu pumpkins in the first spot, but long gourds count at the weigh-off, and there is much less competition in this category than with Dill Atlantics, so it seems like a good idea. Also, no has gotten a long gourd to the weigh-off from my city, so it will be a first. Looking forward to it!
