I'm lucky to have gotten at least one set on the main vine. This is the third time the main has shriveled and died on me. I keep the entire plant under a 30% shade cloth and have another I put directly over the main, but I guess it wasn't enough for the 107 degree weather we have in June and July.The third pumpkin on the main shriveled with it, so that just leaves two pumpkins. Hopefully they both set.
