50 gallons of compost tea. I've never made this much before, and I certainly won't be using it all on my pumpkins at this point in the year, but it was more of a proof of concept as opposed to a necessity. I used approx. 3 oz. molasses, 16 oz kelp extract, 16oz humic acid extract, 10-15lb leaf mold compost, and 6 cups Vital Tea, which is a tea brewing starter in it of itself. The pH went down to 5.7 because of the humic acid, but has rebounded to 6.4 in the last two hours (whether due to mixing or the bacteria I am unsure). I'd like to see where the pH goes tomorrow.
