Last year Dan took the winter off. It gave me a chance in the competition. I made improvement from 2015/2016 to 2016/2017. Tripled my weight to come in at 2.51 pounds which was sufficient for first in the competition. This year I am expecting to see some good numbers from many growers. At this point in the competition I am seeing more growers with sets than ever before. I don't think it will be long before it takes 4+ pounds to win.
