Forgot to mention, yesterday as I was measuring my pumpkin, I heard a voice "putting your pumpkin to bed?" Here, a local auctioneer walked over from the neighboring store. He runs a large produce auction just miles away, which is home to the worlds largest Christmas tree auction. Literally. "What do you want for it today?" I guess he wanted to buy it. Would have to be a pretty penny for a guy to cut a potential PB 30 days early!
