1317 pictured on 9/3/17. Surface growth cracks continue to show up, as growth continues. This time last year the growth curve of my 1148 was flattening out. Not the case this year, despite the cooler nights. So, it will be interesting to see what the next 30 days bring.

This year I swung a bunch of the secondaries between the pumpkin and the stump forward to fill in beyond the pumpkin. These leaves plus the growth past the pumpkin must be sustaining the growth. They are also the leaves that were spared from spray burn, and overall look healthy. I believe the spray burn came from agri-fos, but in any event, the leaf problems I had appear to be under control.
