Here's the 1872 Willemijns that never really grew. Its 200 lbs tops and I was going to clear the patch but thought I could probably learn something from this stem split.
The split goes 5-6 inches to the pumpkin but has not reached the cavity. Surely there can't be much further to go.
Inside the crack and pumpkin is solid dried up skin with no hint of softness or rot.
Could she still be entered?
