.....as now I have another crack on the front. This has been a scar/dent of sorts since the beginning and finally popped.

Having ran out of liquid fertiliser I have been using a coco fertiliser. The trouble with that is that coco fertilisers have less potassium and more calcium, magnesium and nitrogen. Through ion-exchange in the coco at higher EC's typical during flowering periods, these elements go into the coco and naturally occuring potassium comes out.

But I'm not growing in coco so no potassium. To counter this I have been adding in potassium (20%). But I don't think I have it balanced. Too much potassium means not enough calcium and vica versa. Same relationship exists between Ca, Mg and K.
So too much K could mean why I'm seing cracks and splits.
Or...I'm just over thinking it.
