I still have the 55 gallon hydro tomato growing. Was having trouble holding up the plant with one hand to show root structure and still manage to take a picture. The roots extend about 3 1/2 feet. Definately would be root bound in 5 gallon bucket. Raising the ppm of the solution did give some results for third truss blossom..I have 3 doubles on the third truss but it was at the expense of curly topping the plant. I am thinking I will go with a second truss double to get seeds from this 5.85 Boudyo and work on improving the hydro techniques over the winter. Right now my outdoor hydro is behind outdoor soil.
