Two things I was hoping for this year were a bigger plant at pollination, and a bigger plant overall. So, in part of trying to achieve these goals I added heating cables this year. I also increased my patch size. Now I have about 650-700 square feet per plant. I know bigger is probably better yet, but I wanted to stick to something I thought I could manage.
