Last year I spent quite a bit of time working with the Langley soil calculator (thanks again Cecil for your help), and I feel my soil tests show it is working. Last fall I added shredded leaves as usual, and some mushroom compost as well. This spring I amended with 0.25 lbs Borax, 14 lbs Epsom Salts, 20 lbs Kelp meal, 16 lbs Bio-tone, a little peat moss, and a little lime.
