well;;; the ups and downs of growing giant pumpkins. i measured this fruit 2 days ago, doing a bit of cleaning up around the punkin patch, today, and seen this;;; we had a couple of storms in the last 2 days.
i don't know whether it sucked too much water in or what. the fruit is covered from the weather with tarp and hail netting. i remember someone on this site saying "" if your not blowing them, your not growing them""
measured the fruit and it has put on 48 lbs in two days; oh well, i still have another couple; this was my 1734-steil;;;;;;;;;; my p.b. last season.
