Here's the last pumpkin of the year. She made the rounds at my kids school now she will be at a local water treatment facility for the remainder of her life. I hade issues with this plant from the very beginning. There was a leaf disease that was controllable with copper but slowly took her out. Bummer because it was a 2009 I received as a gift from a good friend. I tried but could never get her to do more then 20ish pounds a day.
She taped at 910 and went 1003 so a nice amount heavy. The cross is 2009 X 1756 Howell.
I already have the greenhouse cleared out, I may add a thing or two then I'll till next week and get a cover crop planted for the winter.
2017 here we come!!!
