I hit the road today and ended up at Ron's house at 7:30am. Wanted to personally thank him for sharing his Spray program last winter. Ron is a really good guy and helped me "Fix" my soil this year, after 5 years of problems in the patch. Thanks for the help Ron. I got 5 sound pumpkins and 1 month to go. Your fungicide program to clean out the phyto was a major reason for this comeback attempt.
And special thanks tho Matt Debacco, and Joe Jutras for convincing me to haul out 30 yards of "bad soil: and bring in 30 fresh yards of Topsoil. This clean soil has been problem free so far.
And attached photo is a pic of Ron a monster long pumpkin from his 1790, taken on Aug 21st. Its Big! Very Big!
