Finally had to cut my 1797 Checkon stump off. Lost about 50% of the plant. The remaining plant has nice young looking leaves. I have not measured the pumpkin yet, going to wait for day 30, maybe.... Fruit is on a side vine so just hoping for 700-800#. We will see.
