Planting tips for this week.

After seeing Rons diary I know my dont worry about root bound theory is spot on.lol I think sometimes some old theorys are not true.I plant in 1 gallon & 2 gallon bags,No need to use 5 gallon buckets per Ron Wallace the best grower on the planet year after year.(most times on top)

Get your soil temp to 60 if possible.Over 80 not really good.60s is fine.

Temps in greenhouses & cold frames should not exceed 90 degrees.I like 80 to 85.

Dont plant in mud & if heavy rain is expected cover planting site to keep dry.

I never fertilize a transplant wait one week (root Keeper is ok)0r other mycoor/beneficial product.

Shade a plant the first day after transplanting the Hot sun if over 70-80 out can fry a new plant. If you couldn't acclimate use a chair & place a brick on seat so it dont blow away .

Any questions on planting?? Make sure your house is in order. Please add growing tips below for others if I missed any ??

Cold frames should be wide open both ends on sunny days. You will fry your plants over 90.They might survive but you will damage them.
