I found my trusty patch shoes! I collected soil for a post-amendment analysis and a test to see how green beans (a boron sensitive crop) and field pumpkins (a boron tolerant crop) germinate. I filled 10 pots with new patch soil, half leached, half regular. I filled an additional 5 pots with my old patch soil. They're in the germination area staying warm. In a week, I'll know if I over did it with the micronutrients. I'm hoping that with the deep plow and deep tilling, the boron won't be so concentrated.
