Now that we've ended the year with a crazy amount of issues, I have learnt a few things.
Ground temperature was way too high, need to be in the mid 70's. My microbial life must have been crazy. so I need to cut back.
I blew up my 1985 Miller in the beginning of August at 417 inches, I had daily gains of 70, 72, 70, 26, and Zero It weighed 12 percent light but I expected that.
Next biggest issue, Third stage growth, Man I had 3rd, 4th and 5th stage growth. and on 8 plants and really being away a 1/4 of the time, I could not keep up, which lead to other issues.
So next year I'm cutting back to 4 plants and going to try and do it again.
This is a very good system and was the brain child of a few engineers, a soils agronomist, and a ton of input from Jim Sherwood, and Jack Larue. (yes we talked pumpkins on the fishing trips) can you believe that
Next summer will be a very indepth Diary so we can share what's happening.
And yes Wizz I was WAY over my head this year and may be next year too but in due course!!!!
