And in that 4 days...confirmed...she'll be orange...no doubt about it now. Very smooth and shiney just like I was hoping...really happy with the crosses we did last year and the fruit are turning out to be what we were hoping for.
Richmond Dave's got a beauty going on his 1043 Chan, and that is where the 1124 Dixon came from...cool.
1043 Chan is from 'The Freak' 1789 Wallace, with orange pumped into it by pollinating with the 1684 Delaney. Dave's 1043 grew my 1124 for me last year, and I further pumped some orange into it by pollinating with the 1602 Glasier which was beauty orange and our 1126 lb personal best that went 15% heavy.
So long and short...we are hoping to get big, orange and heavy from our resulting crosses and they look good so far.
