Lower patch in the morning, no sun at planting site, but it will roll around in late morning and then stay till sun down...since I rotate my planting sites in my small patch, I battle differant sun angles, but generally get full sun when the going gets good in July and August.
We wont bore you with seedling pictures this year. but will tell you that our 1124 Dixon was super easy to germinate and all the seedlings have us repeating "wow I've never seen seedlings like this before"
If you have not checked out the diary from Spambie (Scott), do yourself a favour and check it out. Scott is a local Vancouver guy who has found some fun in pumpkin growing, and it looks like he is serious about whatever he gets involved with.
He should be growing a 1124 or 1126 Dixon, but I think he said something to me about "not having enough room"
