Does a blue ribbon mean anything if nobody else bothered to enter a melon? Well, anyway, here's the "pretty" 128-pounder, a 197 Bright '13 that fought against my complacency to earn the equivalent of a Participation Trophy. A big "Thank You!" to Lloyd Bright for providing the seed, and offering me a few tips for 2015. I'm now on a mission to make the Rogers County (OK) Fair more competitive for growing giants.
