Took the saw to the 845 O'Brian 13 X 368 Boyd 12 today. It was barely putting any weight due to the rot from the stump and vine. Cleaned the soft spot this AM, but it was 8 inches across! Found the stem had a brown area in the center, so the problems weren't going to get any better!
Wayne, we had a very low seed count, it may end up less than 2 dozen viable. I believe it suffered a some damage soon after planting. I remember mounding up the soil around the weakened stem, as I tried to stop the foaming I dug deeper and deeper around it. Got it stopped yesterday, but the damage was done. Estimated weight 560lbs.
