This is early January and the mustard was in full swing, prettiest cover crop I've ever had!
I've had really bad disease the past two years so the mustard was planted to try and control the Pythium, Phytophora, Fusarium, Rhizoctonia and Verticillium that has attacked me in early August. Both stalk disease testing and pathogen tests in the soil confirm all these which I had no idea I had. The Fusarium and Verticcillium seem to be the casual agents and everything else being secondary.
