Loaded up and heading to the Durham Fair!

1676.5 Daletas ’12 (x 1216.5 DeBacco)
Day: 97
OTT: 425”
Est. weight: 1628 lbs.

A few years ago, I purchased a nice green heavy duty trailer that also has hydraulics to automatically dump which is a nice option and time saver. However, I purchased a 5’ x 8’ size bed which I thought was going to be plenty big for my pumpkins, well in short I had to buy a bigger trailer;-)

I decided to purchase the widest legally available trailer I could find. Also, since the main purpose of this trailer is to be a show trailer I purchased one made from aluminum. The sides, floor, and even the wheel rims are all aluminum which makes it not only look nice but it is also very light and easy to move (when empty). The trailer is 8.5ft wide with an 82” deck width to provide maximum room for the cargo. The tires on both sides have a little scuff make as those toll booths can get a little tight;-) I spent the winter hand buffing the entire trailer in hopes that it would be needed this year, and I am glad I did.

Adding the Team-Pumpkin banner is an obvious choice and I think it adds to the pictures that are taken where ever the pumpkin travels.
